Quarterly Statistical Bulletin September 2009
The Malawi Quarterly Statistical Bulletin provides details of a number of mainly economic statistical series. It includes series that change either monthly or quarterly. It is intended to complement the shorter Monthly Statistical Bulletin, which provides the latest values of all the series presented here, and the Annual Statistical Yearbook, which is a summary of the most recent statistical data available from official sources. The Bulletin includes key economic statistics, such as external trade, prices and price inflation rates, industrial production, agriculture, finance and banking (including exchange rates), and transport and tourism. It is normally published four times a year, for each of the four quarters, in the month following the end of the quarter. Wherever possible, data is included covering the latest quarter but in some cases this is not possible. These statistics are made available in later editions
